No, actually the Chi iron is about the healthiest and best quality on the market right now. It seals the outer layer of the hair called the cuticle. It is made of ceramic, which is really hot right now. although i prefer the Chi turbo, any brand of Chi is acceptable.

Not really.Obviously there will be some damage if you don't put moisture back in it,but the Chi is great.Just use a good shampoo thats made for straightening hair like Bed Head Control Freak and you'll be good to go.

anytime you put heat on the hair it will be slightly damaging. however, the chi iron is awesome because it has ceramic plates and so it's safer for the hair. but you should also get a thermal styling spray too, because that will give your hair more protection from the heat.

no i iron my hair and it makes it straight the only way it will damage you hair is if you leav it on to long

all flat irons damage hair. u could use sm special spray stuff to not make it as bad...
