I am leaving a company and I have purchased things through the company on a personal account. They are saying I need to pay it off before I go. I cant do that without breaking myself financially to the point of being homeless (I owe over $600). Can they legally deduct this from my last paycheck or should I just tell them to f themselves?

First of all, you owe the money to them, so hopefully they have a right to take it back from you. They were actually doing YOU the favor, and you want to tell them to go F themselves.

Maybe you should also examine your savings plan if $600 will make you homeless. You shouldn't have bought that stuff that you couldn't afford.

Besides, what are you going to do, sue them?

I don't think they can. I do know in some states, it's not allowed. You have to check with your state labor department.
