with out testing or $
like if you were walking into a house for the first time and you just knew that the house had some supernatural force inside. besides just some wind or cold breeze or a weird feeling. something you could really base research on. thanks

I suppose you could try measuring the electrical fields present in the house (I think that it's an EMF?). Having said that though, it can be a huge pain to get one much less to read it reliably.

Realistically, walk through the house without doing anything overly intellectually ambitious. If you're sensitive you should see flickers, crap etc etc at the very least. Other than that if the house gives you the creaps that's a good indication. Of course there are plenty of ways of clearing houses of these things and keeping them clean but that's another topic ;).

Best of luck,

Cheers,

Unless you are used to seeing ghost and other spiritual entities it would be near to impossible to figure it out without testing or cash. However you can just ask. Most spirits that actually realize that they are in this realm will respond in some way. However most "ghosts" are just echoes of something that has happened there or people who were living there. You have to remember. Time is relative to the observer. You have to observe what is happening at another time. For all you know, you may be the "ghost" to someone in the future or the past.

If you have pets of any kind, such as a cat, dog, bird or other tame animal...you can bring them with you. Animals are highly sensitive to electromagnetic changes around them. Its why they tend to go nuts when a severe weather condition or earthquake is about to occur. If they act in a manner that seems out of character they are probably responding to a spirit or to a ghosts residual energy. If you don't have a pet...you can light a candle....candle flames because of their sensitivity to changes in temperature and oxygen will react if the air temp. suddenly drops around you. Just look for a place that is away from drafts. Lastly, I have to agree with those that say trust your instincts. If you suddenly feel very uncomfortable being in a house that has apparently no one around...and you feel apprehensive, then remove yourself out of what may be your mind's way of alerting you to an unfriendly entity of one kind or another. We far too often don't give ourselves enough credit when it comes to our instincts and our intuitions.

it's possible to have loads of ghosts in your house and have a little or none of evidence to prove it.

be open with it. go with what you feel. but remember.. what you feel is what attracts them. ex... if you had a ghost in your house and it was removed.. if you concentrate on it all the time.. it will come back..

try connecting to something there.. you may or may not get a reply.... but remember when you open yourself up.. you MUST close yourself down... otherwise its like shouting in the middle of a city that theres a party with free booze at your house.. then you'll have god knows what come in...

but good luck!

Its easy to know if a house is haunted, as there is no such thing as ghosts to haunt a house. While there are evil spirits (demons) they revolve around people, not places.

Let my cat or dog in first and if it freaks out, brarks, meows, growls, or hisses. I'm not going in there.

Trust your instincts, dont rely on proof. If it spooks you, dont go there.
