what are some good ways to study for vocabulary tests other than flash cards, becasue those don't work for me?!

The first question is, how do you memorize other types of things? If you had a shopping list, for example? Alphabetize them or make a song?
Something else to consider is that memorizing a list of vocabulary for a test won't help you use it. My suggestion is to write a funny, personal sentence for each one--something that speaks to YOU--even if you never tell it to anyone else.
Lastly, be strict with yourself when you use flashcards. Go through them once. Whatever you don't get right put in another pile. Go through that pile again. Whatever you still don't remember goes with you EVERYWHERE. While you are eating lunch, while you are in the bathroom. You should look at it 10 times a day at least.

flash cards to work!!....But since they do not seem to be helping you out then you should just write it down as many times as possible until you believe you have the answers right quiz yourself!!.....and like that u'll know the ones u are having more problems with. Just keep on quizzing yourself after a lil studying. I'm sure u'll be fine.

Just write it over and over and over again...monotonous, but it gets it into your head. Saying it out loud may help also, once again many times. Good Luck!

listen what i do is i get a note book and star jotting down notes of what i have to remember then its much simple to memorize also by saying in my head alot till it sticks. trust me it works i get A's.
