Oh yeah they are bad. If I see any in my yard we kill them with gas. They can make you real sick. I knew one child that was put in the hospital after a bunch got on him and bit him all over.
Like a bee sting

The name "FIre Ant" is no joke. I sat down on a sidewalk once, put my hands down, and within minutes, felt like my hand was on fire. There weren't even that many, but when I saw the ants, there was no question in my mind what type they were. It hurt, it burned, and it still burned even after I swiped them all off. To answer your question.... YES, I'm sure it would be awful if you had them down your pants!!! I don't recommend it at all ;)

fireplace ants are very undesirable and could bite and sting. the terrific way I even have chanced directly to get rid of those pest is by skill of making use of Andros fireplace ant killer. you only sprinkle a small volume on the mound in the early night. Repeat this comparable technique a pair of days later to kill any new ants. that's a actual difficulty everywhere in the South! i in my view do wish some professionals will arise with an excellent greater advantageous thank you to administration those bugs.

If they got down your pants, you wouldn't be wearing pants very long. Yes, when they bite it is extremely painful and causes small blisters (for lack of knowing the actual term) on the skin. IF you ever get bit by them WD-40 is the best thing to prevent the pain and you will not blister as bad.

They are BAD. And you may get them where you leave. They ares spreading after being inadvertently brought to this country, I believe from S. America. There was infestation in S. California a few years back but measures were taken to wipe them out in time.
If you get them down your pants then hope there is only one or two. Many might do serious damage to important body parts. Leave them alone, watch where you walk. They have a distinctive mound.

yup, i was running through the woods in the back of my childhood home and must've breifly i mean very briefly stepped on an ant hill and my legs and shoes were covered luckily i was able to get most of them off befor they bit me up too badly. but i don't remember the bites being especially bothersome for too long, but i think that "am. natives' or whatever used to put ppl on ant hills to kill them or torture them or something like that. i'm sure it'd work.

According to your profile you are a pedofile natured janitor in Canada who slags his wife. Also cheats on her. You drive a cab and you have a motto according to you that is something akin to pump and dump. Now look a.s.s.wipe, you need fire ants in your undies, they might make you think. You are scum. read up on fire ants, I am not doing your work for you....so hump your computer desk and read honey, if you can tap the keys to profess that you are an adulterating creep who likes to look at young girls at school while you mop up...then you have time for fire ants.
Only at this moment am I glad i am in the country I am in.

Absolutely. I lived in MS & FL. Those ant bites hurt and you are usually bit mutiple times before you realize that one or many are biting you. They are quite a big problem especially if you are allergic like me. I spent many times soaking in epsom salt and swollen up from the bites. I'm glad we don't have them in Indiana.

They're bad. We have 'em everywhere here in Texas. When they bite they leave small blisters. They are very dangerous to small kids and animals because if you come across one, there's sure to be thousands close by. And the bite hurts like hell!
