Cuz they are the most comfortable thing you can put on your feet. It's like stepping on fluffy,yummy goodness. I do not think they are cute and would not wear them anywhere important. But they are my standard winter go to the store, get a tea & watch the waves shoes. Surfers have been wearing them for years cuz after you get out of the cold water they warm ya up.

Ugg boots originated on sheep farms in Australia. The name came about either because they are so 'uggly', or because of the way the worn in sheepskin (h)uggs your feet.
They are practical, comfortable, and warm. With all the colors available now, some have even overcome their ugly origins and are really cute.

uggs are popular b/c celebrities wore them 4 a little while. they r now almost completely out of style in my city, thank god!! uggs r supposed 2 b so unique and individual. but now every1 has an old pair of uggs. so they aren't anymore!

they're adorable. celebrities started the trend. they are so fugly that they bring out the cutness of whoever's wearing them. srsly. i LOVE uggs. but it's all a matter of personal opinion bc my boyfriend hates when girls wear uggs. most trends become popular through celebrities though

They're ugly or should I say "Uggsly."
Anyway, they look like you have polar bear feet, they have no shape at all and if somebody came up to me in those I would not take them seriously. In fact opposed to that I would think they forgot to take off their unusually large slippers when they got out of bed.

Camron Diaz was spotted wearing them one day back in 2001 or something and the rest is history. All the celebrities caught on and now everyone wears them. They are really comfortable despite looking really bad with most pair of long pants.

Well, boots are totally in right now.ANd Uggs have ALOt of different color boots so thta it would match ur outfit. It is also VERY warm inside. They looooookkk REALLY cute.
