SlipKnoT.. here's why:
1998, a new band on the national music scene, 9 members all wearing masks and jumpsuits, but they played phenominal music that is described as "orchestrated madness".
There was a message to the music that made you really understand what they were trying to say by wearing the masks, that they were not just a gimmik like many others.
I find it awesome that a band can do something hoping they wouldn't be taken as a gimmik, they hoped that someone would get it.. and millions got it, I just find that exhillerating in itself, not to mention their music.. 9 members and you take even 1 away and you will notice

Cascada. (Yes, it IS a band, it's comprised of Yanou, the main girl (Natalie Horler), and DJ Manian.) I love the techno-european music genre a lot, and they are the easiest ones I can find on the internet.
There's also:
*** Panic! At the Disco (I knew about them when people still asked, "Panic! at the What?" They have so much meaning in their music and their sound is amazing and soo unique!)

** Fall Out Boy (they originally lived in the same town I did... before they become famous. And now I moved... but I was one of their fans (yes, again) when "Take This To Your Grave" came out, and everybody started liking them 1 album later... I love their unique sound and how they have so many styles!)

cute is what we aim for...they are the best band ever!! there songs are so well fitted together and they are all amazing guys!! they have real talenttt!!!my favorite songs by them are finger twist and split, risque, curse of curves, sweat the battle b4 the battle sweats u, and the fourth drink instinct.. and i also like rascal flatts as well..they are all great bands and i love them all!!<3

I would have to say hands down, Duran Duran!!! I know, its an 80's thing, but that was a fantastic time in my life and I still get chills everytime I hear Girls on Film, Rio, or Hungry like the Wolf...there isnt a D2 song I dont like...as long as its the early stuff. Good feelings in my heart even when I am really down...they were soooooo cute back then, too... Even tho' I played bass back then, it was John Taylor's perfection and skill that made me want to grow and improve... and I did.

My Chemical Romance all the way ^_^ Well,I happen to love My Chemical Romance because of their amazing lyircs.Gerard's voice is wonderful and sings the lyrics in such a way that is sooo freakin amazing!!! My Chemical Romance is just an overall amazing band!!!
