what would you do if you just found out?

my friend at church who is the son of the minister is 22 year's old and just found out he was adopted and so was his sister who is 24 he talk to me about it and i could tell he was hurting from the news b/c he said they never told him and he found out from a distance relative everyone through they looked so differant from his real children but no one gave it a second thought until now he also said most of his life most people ask him why was he and his siser so diffrent in school i hurt for him but i also know that he is hurting too what would you tell him ppl?

Tell him that there is a reason for everything. They were adopted for a purpose, and are probably better off for it. Now that they are adults they have the maturity and opportunity to seek their biological background if they so choose. He should confront his parents (adoptive) on why they decided not to tell him & his sister that they were adopted. They have to start their own healing process.
