On Valentines Day totally go for the red/pink look, but if you wear just the right warm colors of red and pink ... u could get lucky enough to wear they wuoold match perfectly. but if u hav just the wrong color of red and pink (like hot pink) dont do it lol

Not a match, unless you're going for a cupid look. If they want to have a polished, "put together" look going on, they should take the time to match and coordinate colors. Browns, blacks, and creme go well with pink.

i would go with you. I dont think pink and red match unless it is on valentines day or it is a pink bag with a red shirt

They are fine together. They are both bright colors- you know, red, orange, and pink. Then there's blue, purple, and green. And white and black go with anything. Of course they look nice together as a cool, layered look.

Pink is red… a lighter form of red… anyway, It’s not always about matching... coordinating of complementing... ;)

i think that the red probably didn't look TOTALLY horrible but a shade of pink (no matter how dark) would have looked better!
