A long beaded necklace , double loop it, but keep it staggered. In nice complimentary colors: variegated light blues, light yellow-light orange, or even light greens. Small dangly earrings (no hoops; simple, understated). A sleek watch, a few chunky stone rings, and depending on weather climate there peep toed wedge sandals

I generally run into the same problem...I usually wear jeans (or sweats when I'm in the house) and a shirt and track jacket but the look gets boring after a while.
Bright yellow sunset is a niice color (:
Wear shades if you have them...big sunglasses always bring out any outfit.
Necklaces are pretty nice. I don't suggest going with the chokers that were in about four years ago, or chains, but beaded long necklaces are nice. I think turquoise would go nicely with the yellow. Ooh! Pearls are super, too!
Aand...definitely, earrings! Again, turquoise beads...chandeliers would be nice. Silver hoops look great. Remember to not go overboard and look gaudy. Keep it simple with diamond studs if you want to.
Make sure you have a great purse/bag. Bigger bags such as hobo satchels are in right now, but if you have a cute designer bag, that'll work really well.
Sometimes a simple ring--silver band--is just a nice touch...and it definitely looks like you put thought into your outfit, but it can be a casual thing you wear with your friends too.
Also, belts would be nice. If it's a regular t-shirt, it depends how you want to wear your belt (on the shirt or below) but big belts are nice when worn correctly.
Definitely put thought into your shoes. It's not too difficult to make shoe mistakes with jeans but some suggestions...if you're going with the scruffy/casual look, wear sneakers, Vans or Adios especially. Of course, Converse works too. Knee-high boots with jeans tucked in are the ultimate cool and if you want a little edge on sexiness, wear stilletos if the occasion complies. If it's more of a moderately casual event, wedges are perfect. Ballet flats also work for everything...depending on whether you get metallics. Black ones are good for casual and formal. Uggs are alright I guess, but they're becoming a bit 2002 now.
Bracelets would also be nice, but the problems you hit are whether you want to go with jelly bracelets or clunky or beaded ones. With the second option, you have to be EXTRA-careful that it does not look grandma-like. Small-chained bracelets (charm bracelets--Italian ones are kind of gone now) or small beaded ones (especially if they match earrings or necklace) look finished and elegant.
Also, a minor thing is a watch. i have a thin banded, square Gucci watch and it always serves as a tasteful divider if I don't have bracelets that work.
If it's a very casual occasion, baseball caps work well...cowboy hats...not really.
Have a nice jacket--whether it's boucle, a pea coat, or a parka.
Besides accessories, however...because so many people are layering, buy different colored tank tops and wear one underneath your shirt.
Also, style your hair nicely!
I hope this helps!
Whatever you do, remember two things!
1) Don't overdo it and look like the third aunt who always wears all her gold to the family barbecue. Keep your eyes open for outfits and keep it sweet and simple if necessary!
and 2) Choose a combination that fits--for example don't put boots with a track jacket (pea coats work better) or worn out Converses with elaborately inscribed chandelier earrings.
Remember, the right combination will set you out for fun and a hard-hitting edge of cool and sexy.

Do I have some advice for you!
Try adding a solid white headband. For a necklace, try pooka shells or a nice silver necklace (maybe with a heart on it!). For a bracelet, try a matching pooka shells bracelet, or a matching silver bracelet. If you want to make it more dressed up, wear silver instead of pooka shells and add a ring and a few more bracelets. Your outfit sounds really cute- I love Aero! They are amazing! :) If your going casual, I would personally go with the pooka shell look. Also, if you are going casual (like a day @ the beach with friends), turn the headband into a cute baseball hat. ( I love the boys' hats from Aero! they are amazing and they fit my head really well! Good Luck! I hope you figure out the perfect ensemble for your simple but cute look!
