the failure in Iraq has nothing to do with liberals. it was the republican party that wage war in Iraq. Iraq was never a threat to the U.S.
they had a big bullie in Saddam. A person with a big mouth and a bigger ego.(that was it republicans)
Saddam was at best a pop culture figure among Islamic radicals. countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, that do silently fund Al-qeada cell groups , was not allies with Iraq.
also the war in Iraq has nothing to do with liberal policies. it has to do with a nation that does not want a democratic government in place. a nation that cannot understand the separation of church and state.

And i do support war when it is valid. This sitting President has yet to catch the people responsible for 911
instead he made Al-qeda cells stronger and more united
by waging a stupid war in Iraq
Remember Ben -laden dummy! and his network. don't blame the liberals
blame this republican president. how many more American need to die and or suffer because this president used war a rally cry to stay in office as long as he did.
let me tell you something else . our armed forces can win any war. its when they become policemen they can lose.
we won the war its time to get the heck out . why must we continue to spill American blood and guts. the only failure in Iraq is those animals are not even human beings with themselves.

First of all I don't know of any liberal that is OK with failure in Iraq. I know too many liberal people that have got family members fighting over there. So I'm not sure where you got that information.

Second...George W Bush announced to the world via American TV that the US WON the war. It's the occupation that's proving difficult. Even the Iraq ppl don't believe we are fighting a war anymore. It's about being an occupying force and our troups being in a country that's on the edge of civil war. We just are not going to be able to police a civil war.

Even George Bush Sr pulled out of Iraq when he realized it was getting too sticky to be there without an exit strategy and without better protection for our troups.

A wise man learns from the mistakes of others, the foolish learns from only his own. Next time around, let's hope as citizens we look more carefully at the issues and vote, not a straight ticket, but for the individual candidates that will best support the issues.

Right now, many Americans are just looking for any candidate that will say bring our ppl home immediately. Their anger and frustration and sense of loss clouds their abilities to actually look at the issues. That's true on both the Republican and Democratic side.

Stop making this about blaming liberals and conservatives and start trying to help work on a solution. Stop mud slinging. It doesn't help anyone. And remember, as we American Citizens continue pointing fingers and blame, we still have our ppl dying over in Iraq...waiting for a decision.

It's such a cop out to say liberals. Who is saying that we need to win, conservatives? It's hard to find those guys around anymore. I'm liberal, not too for left, but leaning more and more all the time. My past as a Republican was based on the thought that Republicans were fiscally conservative, but Republicans today, neo-cons are as fiscally irresponsible as any Democrat in history. At least the Democrat's irresponsibility is in the failure to attain solutions to lofty social problems like health care and free speech while Republicans irresponsibility seems to fall into throwing more good money after bad into Iraq without a change in strategy.

I can't recall, so please remind me which liberal said "It's OK to fail in Iraq". Perhaps their feeling is that we have already lost and if you are in for the win and want to convince me to be in with you and the president then you're first going to have to tell me what a win would look like. Who would we be beating?

It is not that liberals are OK with failure in Iraq, but that they are NOT OK with dying in Iraq. Why should we continue to keep sending our youth over there to keep getting blown up? I mean, after we've been lied to, i think we need a better plan. THEN talk to me about staying in Iraq.

You can't blame the liberals for the mess you created yourselves with the bush baby. You were warned by the world and said who cares what the world says. In your arrogance you said and still say you're bigger and better than anybody and you'll
do whatever it takes for your national security whether the world likes it or not. Well, you reap what you sew and it does look good
on you. You've met your Stalingrad like the Germans but your eyes are blinded with arrogance.

Why are conservatives OK with murdering innocent people in a country which never did a thing to them?

Why are conservatives hell-bent on blaming anybody else for the Iraq debacle EXCEPT the person who created it?

how do you stop "kaos" failure is not the fault of the USA it is the fault of the extreme radical's whom see fit to see that the middle east is in turmoil! They only see peace with their laws and beliefs which is what the american civil war was about, except the middle east wins as there is no end, it's only spreading more hatred by lie's(politics) which see's more extremists every day.

Lebanon saw lies after Isreal stoppped their war in '06, more and more people joined up, but on the other side! where do they stand now; they want all islamic nations to stand up and they are and the USA is on their own, as it shows in iraq!

it's a way to get thier power back.
if there is faliure, or early pull out or anything other than complete victory, it will be President Bush's fault. They did the same thing in the Vietnam War. Constantly give the enemy a fighting chance by sayining we shouldn't be there, setting up deadlines, and ultimately defunding to the point that there was no option but to get out. as long as the military loses, the liberals will be able to call it a victory for themselves. shameless

Failure is a fear word, used by the warmongers to create irrational followers. The failure in the Middle east is creating cultural genocide while ignoring racial genocide in other countries. In fact it creates a distraction for issues such as universal health care.

It is a failure. Iraq was the wrong target duh the enemy was in the Mountains of Afganistan and Pakistan. Now Bush has made it easier to spread them in the area. What is it that makes you 29% of the population not see that Bush is incompetent.
