Because they're hungry for a nazi republican fascist revolution out of anger because whites are becoming a minority.
Of course, the November elections ensured that won't happen. So they're still hanging onto their lame duck president. It's both amusing and pathetic

Because they are greedy for oil and wealth...its pure and simple. Did they ever think that Iraqi people did not want to be helped? I was there, I have fought in this war, I have had rocks thrown at my vehicle by Iraqi civilians who dont want us there!! Why isnt this story being told? I would have to say that about 50% of the people I encountered did not want us there. Why do conservatives feel that we need to be international police? We are in the middle of a civil war between Sunni and Shite. The terrorists have no way to follow us over here....Yea, I am so scared of their vast expansive military force! We have what is called the Dept of Homeland Security now!! I say bring our troops home, we have already won the war, Saddam's regime has been overthrown and Iraq has had plenty of training in order to take over its own gov't. We need to work on securing our borders and then take care of our own problems here in the good ole' USA and stop having our troops getting killed in this civil war!!!

This war isn't working because we are fighting a politically correct war against total barbarians who think nothing of slaughtering their own people.
NO ONE wants to see service members die, honey - and no sane person wants to see Iraqi's die, either.
What are we fighting for? Did all those purple fingers not mean anything to you? Why we went is completely different than why we're still there - and since most of the military personnel I've talked to have told me that THEY believe in what we are trying to do there. Since it's their butts on the line, not mine, I bow to their judgment on the situation.

Conservatives are not "eager to plunge into war", the U.S. Congress as a whole makes that decision. If all goes well (for a day or two) 95% of Congress supports the president, after that he's on his own.

we are fighting for freaking freedom. You think the Iraqis would be as free today if not for us? you think Al-Qaeda would be so cornered if not for us? you think we want to die? You think we want innocent Iraqis to die? we dont. But we cant wait til the terrorists penetrate so deeply that we will never recover. Maybe we are not in it for all the political BS and just for votes. maybe there are some of us who care about the freedom of America and about the American people to sacrifice our political popularity and do what obviously needs to be done. You can email me if you want. I am not trying to be mean, but it seems the whole freedom thing and terrorist thing is taken lightly by some on this forum.

Any war can be won if it is fought properly. Iraq is faring better than most of the wars we waged. I would rather see the proverbial ostrich head put back into the sand but we are too deep. Not all Iraqis... just the ones who FIGHT for Al-Qaeda. So you don't have to go out into public wearing a burkha; to divorce your husband to marry the jerk who raped you; so you can worship the way you please.

American prosperity and democratic freedom at large depends on a victory against fundamentalist Islamic extremism. The stage has been set in Iraq. If we don't kill the killers we will be killed for many years many terrorist attacks later. I hope all you realize this is a big deal and we should support President Bush. We should support our troops for the freedoms they are protecting and ensuring on our behalf. The high road is often a difficult road, and President Bush is doing everything he can to protect America. We must win the War on Terror! The asker of this question should realize that we are fighting for our children's future so they don't have to live in fear!

most of the extra youthful knife wearing thugs on the line lack discipline and actually have not have been given any braveness until it is for themselves. they're too selfish and cowardly to combat for a reason.

For your information, plans to invade Iraq started during the Clinton Administration. You don't believe me? Try following up on history with this link from 1998. http://www.cnn.com/US/9812/16/clinton.iraq.speech/.
Now that that's solved. Why are Liberals against this country winning this war? Every last one of them want to say Bush just blindly sent us to war in Iraq. Not realizing that The Clinton administration started it. Now The Clintons are against it. Answer me that.
