I'm not a Republican, but I don't see how anyone, Republican or not, could NOT be embarrassed by him!

This is a subjective question. I am a Republican, and I believe he has made errors, he has followed poor, if not misguided advice. I have not taken his actions, therefore I am not embarrassed only he can be embarrassed by his actions. The beauty of a democratic republic is we have the ultimate power, the power of the vote.
I disagree with some of his policies and actions; such as Iraq for the first question I asked was, "To what end are we going there?" Weapons of mass destruction? Axis of evil? Everyone should think and ruminate before action. Just as President Clinton acted without thought of the ramifications of his sexcapades in the Oval Office.

Or were you looking for an emotional answer? How do you spell embarrassed?

I have heard a lot of conservative commentators say that George II is not really a republican and does not represent republican ideals, so I would at least say that they are trying to distance themselves from his failed policies.

These commentators are right in a sense--Bush is not a typical republican, but a fascist.

No, not really... i would not use the word embarrassed... that is a very strong word...

he has not done much his second term... i am disturbed by that... and i do agree that it is time for a change...

however... embarrassed, ashamed... and going so far as to call our President stupid... no... i would not do that....
