Sort of. It leaves quite a mess, draws ants, dirt and dust sticks to it, and it can get into the battery, which isn't good. Just go to the auto parts store and ask for some stuff to clean the battery. The Great Depression ended a long time ago.

If you did that with the battery hooked up you might blow up the battery or your whole car motor its easyer to just get a standered post and terminal cleaner they are like 5 bucks and will clean any battery and you can use it for ever and you can find one at any auto part store or at good old walmart

I've never heard of using pepsi. I have heard of people using coke on batteries and also it's good for eating rust.

Not very well and it makes a terrible mess. Use a semiliquid paste make from baking soda and water.
