This is from CPS. People keep saying don't worry, it's not criminal. But to me, a bad record is a bad record. Right now I have a good chance of getting it dropped, but what upsets me is the people who tell me to don't worry; play along and everything will be all right.

Cyan2ak, you are right. It's wreaked a lot of havoc, and although they brought my son back I never know when somebody is going to come and take him again, until I get the charge dropped. And even if they don't, a bad record is a bad record.

They tell you that because they're idiots. Pure and simple. Just because it's merely a violation, rather than criminal, it is VERY costly to you individually. I suggest you speak with an attorney.
