I have smelt everthing in the kitchen and I can't figure what it is coming from. Can someone help me find out a way to figure it out?

Did you check the garbage disposal? There is a product sold at any grocery store for cleaning garbage disposals, it really works!

First I would try the garbage disposal. You can put some lemon juice and or peels down there and run hot water through it. Then go with the refrigerator and freezer. Clean it out top to bottom. With the fan blowing through there, it can take the littlest smell and make it big. Also check any vents in the kitchen for something that may have died in there. Another option is if you have a crawl space, it is possible you have standing water that has gone stagnant or some dead under there as well.

Probably a good idea to find the general area and source of odor. But, I do have a great solution. It is a product called Fridge IT. It is a little purple cube with an activated carbon odor absorber inside that is just incredible. You should buy a few (they are not expensive - about $2 - 3 dollars) and place one in fridge, freezer and then one under your sink and near trash. I literally have them all around my house and have friends that use these odor absorbers even near diaper pail and cat litter box. They are that good in eliminating odors and without nasty sprays and fragrances. Everyone I know that has tried these little things absolutely loves them. You can get them in kitchen gadget sections in stores like walmart and linens and things. Also, I've heard camping world and some other places. Really worth trying.

Have u checked the drains on your sink, sometimes they will hold odors, exspecially if you have a dishwasher, the best thing to do is run some bleach through it, also getting a dish washing cleaner and cleaning the dishwasher helps, they can be purchased in the same section as the dish detergents, but it sepifies that it is for cleaning the dishwasher, not dishes. Also, check under the frig and stove for cleanliness, things spill over and run under these items, and will cause odor, or you may have a dead rodent under one of your appliances, these are all possibilities. Check for mildew under sink cabinets , a small leak could lead to mildew and this will cause odors as well.

Go through with a squirt bottle of half water, half vinegar. Clean in the fridge and in the garbage. Use some lysol spray in the garbage after wards. Be sure to throw away any food in the fridge that doesn't look or smell so well. Put some orange peels down the garbage disposal. If the smell won't go away, make sure you don't have a dead mouse or other nasty creature in there.

Maybe check your pantry really well for rotten food or smell inside your garbage disposal...if that's the problem, just pour some bleach down there or use these things called plinks. It's a little ball of stuff and you run your disposal with hot water and throw the little ball down there and it makes your whole kitchen smell like lemons.

Look around you'll find it eventually!! I once had this situation and couldn't find the problem. Turned out it was a rotten onion that rolled behind the bin all the way to the back of the cabinet. My god did that stink!! Look you will find the problem!! Good Luck!!

It could be lots of things: The garbage can, the garbage disposal, the drain, something died under the fridge or stove, a dirty mop or dishrag, the dishwasher, sour dog or cat food, a piece of food left out and spoiled, something left on the stove in a pot or pan that's gone bad, something under the sink.

What's it smell like? Something spoiled, chemical, etc

could be from the trash can, the garbage disposal, your dish rag/sponge, spoiled foor in the cabinet or fridge. if all of that are good, maybe a rodent has died in the walls.

sometimes rodents die in the space between your lower kitchen cabinets and the ground and there isn't much of way of getting them out witout pulling out the cabinets. i don';t know why they design cabinets that way -- its like asking for rodents to move in and die.
