I am 32 weeks and want to pack my stuff in case it comes early, but have no idea what needs to be packed. Can anyone give me a list?

Oh! Oh! I know the answer to this one! lol I've done this three (going on 4) times so I have what I like to have at the hospital down to a science lol, here's my list (this is my actual check list copy and pasted from MS works):

For Me:
Insurance Info
Contacts/Glasses
Concact Solution/Case/Glasses Case
3 Hair Ties
Slippers (the old pair)
5 pairs of socks. (these tend to get messy during labor and I just HAVE to have my socks lol)
Book/Puzzles/Cards (nothing you have to consentrate hard on though, I usually buy a nice chilldrens puzzle book)
2 Bras
3 underwear
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Hairbrush
Deodorant
Chap stick
Important Phone Numbers (you could forget number you've know for years in all the hubbub, I did lol)
2 Shirts (for going home, 2 because you might leak)
2 Pairs of Pants (same as shirts)
Soap
Shampoo/Conditioner

For Dad (if dad is going to be there with you)
Money for food
Deoderant
2 Shirts (bring a complete change of clothes for dad, the birthing process can be messy for him too)
Pants
underwear
pair of socks
Snacks
Camera/SD Cards/Extra Batteries and charger (or film and extra batteries for a normal camera)
Toothpaste/Toothbrush

For Baby
Car Seat
2 Pacifers
Going-home outfit
Spare outfit
Snowsuit (depending on the weather)
2 Baby Blankets
2 pair of socks
2 Hats

Things like pads and diapers will be provided. Also unless you want to ruin your pjs/nightgown I suggest using the hospital ones, you can ask for a 2nd gown to wear like a robe. Hope my little list helps :)

I'm starting to pack my bag too! I really liked having my pillow at the hospital. I also made sure to bring a disposible razor, because the ones they give you at the hospital are horrible. I loved the hospital socks (so much I took 3 pairs home) and I wore there gowns too. They gave me disposible underwear and pads, and diapers for the baby. During labor I played crazy 8's with a normal deck of cards and also a card game called mille bornes, that I LOVE. I hope this helps!

Here is a website that may help you. I had a c-section so what I took maybe different. I took a robe, old underwear that I could just throw away, an outfit and blanket for the baby and my daughters baby book so I could get her hand and foot prints and my digital camera. I was told to take nightgown but I just wore the hospital gowns, I was told to take a book but I didn't have time tto read. Hope this helps! Good Luck! Oh and don't forget hair brush, toothbrush, shampoo etc on the tolietries.

I'm actually going in tomorrow so they can break my water..things that I'm bringing are comfy clothing including pj pants and other comfy pants, a couple of nursing tank tops, a hoodie, socks, a nursing bra, shampoo, condition, body wash, loufa, face wash, lotion, deodorant, tampons/pads, sanitary wipes, brush/comb, hair products, makeup, purse with wallet (insurance cards and such), clothing for the baby (onsies, pjs, hats, socks, blankets...etc), nursing pads, nursing bras, toothbrush, toothpaste, digital camera, underwear (although they have some at the hospital that can be worn so yours doesnt get ruined), money, books (if you want to read or anything),...hmm I think I got it all. I'm sure I'm missing something I'm trying to remember but basically pack like you're going on vacation for a couple of days. If you forget anything your husband/boyfriend/parents/friends can bring you whatever you forgot. Good luck!

Nightgown, robe, extra panties that you don't mind getting stained, hairbrush, hair tie, clothes to go home in (not your prepregnancy clothes, something loose), nursing bra and pads if you're breastfeeding, going home outfit for baby, pretty blanket for the baby pictures, camera, cell phone, maybe something to read or your mp3 player.

The hospital will have gowns, but you might be more comfortable in your own (because it's not open up the back) and they probably have disposable underpants, but personally those just weren't comfortable.

Well it's been 12 years since I had my baby, but here is what I think I took:
clothes to take the baby home in
clothes for you to go home in
your focal point (I used a stuffed animal)
chapstick
hair scrunchies
deoderant
toothbrush
hairbrush
slippers and socks
your own feminine napkins (the hospital's suck)
camera/videocamera
books/magazines

Oh and make sure you take a carseat with you otherwise they won't let you take the baby home!

* Labor kit containing massage oil (recommended in most childbirth classes)
* Robe
* Warm socks (to wear in the delivery room)
* Maternity underwear (for the trip home)
* Slippers
* Nightgown (one that opens in the front if you're planning on breastfeeding)
* Nursing bra
* Clothing for trip home (consider bringing 1st or 2nd trimester maternity clothes, which will be roomy and comfortable)
* Two pillows with pillowcases from home
* Cosmetics, hairbrush, hair dryer
* Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss
* Prescription medications from home
* Mints or breath strips
* Lollipops (for a dry mouth)
* Lip balm
* Deodorant
* Body lotion
* Eyeglasses (contact lenses may need to be removed prior to a C-section)
* Contact lenses and accessories
* A nightlight (for soft light in the room during night feedings)
* A pad of paper and pen to track Baby’s feedings and diaper changes
* A large envelope to bring home documents (discharge papers, Baby’s first photo, etc.)

usual toiletries, nightgown, preferably a button up if you're gonna breastfeed, slippers. book or magazine, very thick, very long maxi pads, (the ones they give you arent the best) i'd bring panties one size larger since those pads take up alot of space. i brought the announcements with me to fill out when she was born. and of course, a diaper bag with essentials going home outfits for either gender, you never know. hope that helps. congradulations!

Everything these ladies say... just remember your heavy duty overnight maxi pads and some food for your coach (granola bars or something) these were the only things I forgot last time and i'll be bringing this time for sure.

Panties, pads, baby outfits, comfortable clothes (jogging pants, t-shirt, loose fitting night gown). Have the car seat ready. Socks, and slippers. I can't think of anything else right now. If I think of more I'll add it.
