If you have a video (color coded yellow) in the back of your laptop it's easy. Just grab a RCA cable and plug it into your TV, VCR, DVD.
If you have an upscale TV (like HDTV) you may have a serial cable plug-in in the back of the TV.

u should have a s-video out connect that to your tv. u can use a Y-adaptor for the sound. one side goes in to your laptop headphone thing and the other side gos into TV's RCA input. usually they are located infront of your tv. u use the same setup when im in hotels too. works great.
