I used to be able to get on Google.com, Mediafire.com, Blogspot.com, and Yahoo.com (I can go to branches like this, but not www.Yahoo.com, specifically.) Now I can't. Its been like this for a couple of months... Its a problem on my laptop, but my PC is fine...So I don't think its my ISP. (Don't tell me to use my PC, I at least want to get this problem solved.) I thought it was a spyware issue, so I ran a full system check, but it came up fine...I thought it was a DNS error, so I flushed the cache...nothing...Help! Thanks in Advance.

I run McAfee firewall, I get my internet access via Wireless router, and I've tried Adware SE. Just not Spybot.

Did you ever check out your Firewalls? What Firewall do you run? And how do you regularly access the internet, wireless router or wired?
And of course, have you looked at your Hosts file?

You probably have a "redirected hosts file" problem. Use Spybot S&D and adaware SE both. They will find and remove the parasite and fix the hosts problem for you.
