It's sad that some people may think they need to romantically pursue their boss or supervisor to advance. It's sadder if the person in authority encourages it or does it. I'd report him or find another job.
I never did, but I did have a supervisor ask at least 2 people out on dates. He also asked another co-worker to go out for lunch to meet a former coworker who had been promoted to another store.
This same supervisor tried to take me out to dinner as a "thank you" for my effort. I ran away as far and as fast as I could.

It is sad to think that women still think the way to a promotion or raise is to sleep with their superior. Go for it girl. Maybe you can be his secretary is you lick his ***.
