They probably do, after all, Iran is ultra conservative.
I think Iran is part of the Axis of Evil myself.

No. Most don't. This was a big blow-up just before Reagan left office, if you remember. It's the question of whether the ends justify the means. Our men arrived home safely, and that was what was most important to us at that time. The behind the scenes business of arms trades was classified and not reported to the people until the story broke in the late 80's. Prior to that, only a handful of people in America knew anything about it. When we did find out, it went into long public Congressional hearings.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait on the investigations of Bush and Republicans come out in the House and Senate. The list of crimes in office is very, very long. It will also come out that the USA has secretively negotiated with Iran and Syria. Republicans have been trying very hard to keep this quite for 3 years now.

Are you going to repeatedly post this question until you get the answers you want? this is what 3 times now?
I have read 4 or 5 articles about that. it was a flaw in the surplus auctions system and not an intentional sale. most were blocked before Iran got any of them.

I don't think it is a republican thing. It is a Pentagon thing. The plane are no longer in use here and like most surplus is auctioned. The problem is Iran is still using this airplane they are the only ones in the world that has any. Yes the auction should be stopped.

Reagan become no longer even attentive to the sale, yet wager what, he did get up and take finished duty. compared to Obama who has blamed Bush for each thing which includes the smell of his farts, Reagan did not blame Jimmy Carter for permitting US Hostages to taken and held for 435 days. You seem to ignore the Edward Borland (D, Mass) authored and protected the Boland modification to the nationwide protection funds that could enable for secretly funding the Contras in Nicaragua after it become chanced on that the CIA had supervised acts of sabotage without notifying congress The Borland modification become meant to make it unlawful to help the overthrow of the Nicaraguan authorities yet congress circumvented this in the back of everybody's decrease back. you do not seem to even recognize WHY Oliver North become implicated. North turned right into a nationwide safe practices Council crew member in touch contained in the clandestine sale of guns to Iran, which served to inspire the launch of U.S. hostages from Lebanon. North formulated the second one area of the plan: diverting proceeds from the hands revenues to help the Contra insurrection communities in Nicaragua. If North become in touch contained in the sale of hands to Iran and formulated the plans to divert the money to the Contra, how the hell does this equate to him being a FALL guy

For fairness sake, the article refers to parts. However, I do agree, we need to stop the resale of these parts to Iran, something that is just now being investigated since democrats took over. Interesting, isn't it.
