This will show your index.dat files in a simple display, but index.dat will have been erased by any good privacy program.

If you search your system files- under the WINDOWS folder in your C drive, you may find "temps" or "temporary" files, in which the history may be. Some computers have history under it's own folder. When you're in the WINDOWS folder, you may also want to check the System 32 folder, which contains information that might have the history. Hopefully you'll be able to locate it there.

the only way if he deleted them off of the IE history is to go into the registry editor....i can get you there, but someone else has to help you find the sites visited
to get there:
start menu-->run-->type "regedit"
get help from a better techie for the rest of the process =/

i don't think thats possible, but you can recover erased files..ahh on seconds thoughts it woud be possible, do a 'system restore', go back to a previous date before he deleted it
