LOL this is in pregnancy because????

If it's an abreviation it must have the period. Aka... if rd stands for road then rd should be Rd. < period

Make sence?

However if your wondering if the mailman will still deliver your letter? They don't much care about stuff like that hehe.

Nope, just leave out punctuation all together. Leave out the @ sign as well, you don't need it. It's all just a conspiracy to make us type more characters. Oh and next time you want to save a file, just press the deliver (del) key on your keyboard (it saves so much time!)

*Addition*: Thought this was a question about e-mail. Turns out the truth is much more disturbing.... I do not have a reponse to someone who doesn't know how to address a letter.... Lord, I hope you are still in school.

It will still go through.
There isnt a period after state or street abbreviations they are just usually all caps but when entering your address online or writing it in ink - it wont make a difference if you write 'em in all caps or lower case or add periods or not.
