I just signed up and it is going to cost me about $14,000 (including supplies). The price does vary depending on where you choose to go. Some adult ed places offer cosmotology for next to nothing

14,000 is the most I have ever heard anyone pay in my entire life. I got my education in Florida in 2003 and paid 2500 including supplies. Private schools are generally cheaper than public. Look into those first.
