It is between a B- (2.66 or 2.7 depending on the system) and a B (3.0)if the grading system uses + or - in it. If it is straight letter system with no + or - it is a C but close to a B.

a 2.8 GPA is approximately a B- or C+ average when taking an average of all your classes.

its a C. Bring it up. I wouldnt want anyone with a 2.8 operating on me or pulling my teeth. If you want a good job good grades are the key to success.
