If I put my ball python in the water & he poops what does that mean? Does that mean he's uncomfortable?

He's a baby ball& that was his first time swimming.

A nice warm soak will get most reptiles to take a dump. This isn't a bad thing. Some snakes prefer to do their business in their water bowl, kinda gross, but it does save the work of cleaning your substrate, just lift, dump, wash, refill and go.

Most snakes like to do their mess in the water. Cleaning those foul crappy water bowls is one of the "joys" of owning a snake. Think that's bad?--I had a Nile Monitor. They crap nearly every day and just about always in the water.

Your snake is exhibiting perfectly normal snake behavior.
