How do you open it, if it doesn't open at start up. Sometimes it doesn't pop up automatically. Also I have windows messenger live, which is different because it doesn't have the button which brings it up like msn messenger has. Is there a website with the topics on? I can't remember the specific names of them but a few looked interesting earlier but I didn't have the time to view them. Now I do I can't open the damn thing.

If you have the menu's shown in Messenger (unlikely with Messenger Live) then you need to go to the File menu, select "Go to" then "Windows Live Today". For some reason though, mine's disabled. It could be something to do with me uninstalling the messenger live sign-in assistant.

If you don't have the File menu immediately visible, press Alt-F from the contacts screen to bring the menu up, then select "Go to" then "Windows Live Today". If it's disabled on yours, try reinstalling Live messenger (http://messenger.msn.com)

Hope that helps :-)

Maybe try www.msn.com as that has current topic link on there. Even when msn today doesn't come up on my screen, there is usually a little tab for it at the bottom of my screen. Sorry I can't explain better but I'm not very computer literate yet!! Anyway try the msn homepage, I'm sure that will have everything you wanted to read on it.

check the msn settings, there should be some button to tell it to not start msn today when it starts up

You can only access MSN today from MSN itself -- you can set it back to popup under "general" in MSN's settings.

All these kind of options can be found in the Preferences window from the tools menu. =) I dont think the Today window is customizable though.
