Actually the Kinks were considered the first punk band and you can here their influence alot in Green Day and many other bands.

The Sex Pistols and the Clash Ramones they were the best punk bands :)

i might say Misfits, SexPistoles, The Ramones, and the conflict... for the final public nonetheless it stands out as the Ramones.... even nonetheless for me it would could be........ Minor possibility I actual might say the Ramones began all of it using fact I mean they have been the 1st , and in reality all the others bands branched themselves from it, yet a good number of different bands delivered forth new styles of punk which motivated different bands to that kind.. yet like I mentioned it began with the Ramones... i for my area dont shelter them.... ahhh.... what do you're able to say approximately it?.....

Overall I would say yes.
But I especially want to say screw the Sex Pistols and everyone who thinks they were great. They were image-based manufactured crap... no different than the Good Charlottes of today.
