Reagan started selling Iran weapons in the 1980's:

But more recently, you can dig in here:

And Pakistan has been known to be selling the military machine to Iran that the U.S sells Pakistan. The democrats want part of a funding to the pakistan support bill to include that they will not do that anymore. Bush wants that part of the bill dropped.

excellent question.
let's see some facts. And, let's make sure the facts are weapons sold by conservatives alone. That requires a unanimous Liberal protest doesn't it?
so. let's hear it liberals...
interesting link screaming eagle. of course non essential spare parts for F-14 aircrafts sold to unsecure interests that end up in the hands of Iran's government, who, by the way, already possess the F-14s in the first place is a stretch. Oh, where did the planes come from?
How about centrifuge tubes for nuclear enrichment? why aren't the politicians screaming about sales of centrifuge parts to iran that were totally legal until last month?
as to airplane spare parts, it's trivial...
check out this link...
http://www.stanford.edu/class/e297a/U.S.%20Defense%20Industry%20and%20Arms%20Sales.htm
Note the importance of selling military aircraft abroad to support the development of airplanes for national security.
And if you think airplanes are all we sell.... what about cluster bombs.
There is an unholy number of weapons produced and sold each year. Why is one politician making a fuss about spare parts except to make an issue to win an election...
update:
by the way, why not sell F14 parts to Iran. I say sell them all the f14 equipment they want. including US surpless planes. help them build an entire air force of F14 planes. They are about as good as crop dusters when paired up against the US F22 raptors.
