Depending on where you are located, I would try the Australian Consulate. No doubt there is a facility or two around the US.

The last time I tried to find out about work in AU, I went straight to their Consulate in downtown Los Angeles. They were very helpful.

try checking out the department of foreign affairs and trade. they have a graduate program that you may be interested in. they also have contact details and job vacancies in australian embassies around the world. good luck
