Some people have more testosterone or androgen producing hormones than others. I would get prescription meds via a dermatologist. Tetracycline works for some people. Others need to try several different treatments.

Allergies and diet does not cause acne. Don't suffer with it. Get some treatment.

Do you have hair growth in places you wish you didn't, have difficulty losing weight, feeling depressed for seemingly no good reason?? PCOS is often associated with adult acne. Definitely not always.

I'm sorry to hear this
I too had acne up into the age of 39 and it was worse then when I was a teenager.
I had been taking antibiotics for a years long time. Then the doctor finally put me on acutane.
Now I still get a occasional break out now and then.I'm now 44yrs
I understand your pain.
I would ask the doctor about acutane that's the only way I got rid of mine.

If u tan than that's why, but if u don't ur PH balance can just very well be off. If u dont do the three step process than that's probally it. They say u should cleanse tone and moisturize to keep ur PH balance up, If ur PH balance is off it causes acne.

Generally, majority of teenagers suffer from mild to moderate bouts of acne. So they do not need any special treatments for acne. However, if you are suffering from massive attack of acne, you need remedies.
