Speaking as a woman with an imperfect body, I would say a properly fitted bra that is flattering, feminine and supportive. It is amazing how many woman do not have proper fittings and often headaches or back pains can result.
A proper bra can definitely improve a woman's posture and her sense of well being. It also helps the fit of her clothing.
Teddies and corsettes, slips and so on are fun but in reality , comfortable panties and a good bra are the most important of the lot.

I AM A FIEND for garter belts and vintage slips i wear them often under my skirts and dresses and just tip-toeing around the house
