I am 25 years old and am starting to get really, um, shall we say emotional? around my period. I feel really depressed and every little thing makes me burst into tears. At the time, it feels like the world is falling down around me. But a few days later I realize what a moron I was and I feel guilty - it must be unbelievable difficult for others to deal with me when I'm like this. Is there something I can take to help balance out my hormones?

One or more cups of an infusion of the herb oatstraw (the grass of the plant that gives us oatmeal) helps the nerves calm down and provides a rich source of minerals known to soothe frazzeled emotions.

I have suffered from TERRIBLE PMS for more than 20 years. I've *finally* found a combo that works for me - I take Evening Primrose Oil (in capsules) daily, and during that oh-so-delightful time, I use Dragon Time essential oil blend by Young Living. Has made a HUGE difference for me.

Good luck in whatever you decide to try!

Evening Primrose oil capsules are all natural - go to you health store and get a good brand although most chemists (pharmacies) stock them. They really help with the symptoms.
