My father was a background artist on the animated film, the Yellow submarine, his face was the only human image used in this film - cool or not?

Not bad, I take it you've either seen or heard of the film Bridge on the River Kwai? well, the company my dad worked for, (that being a chemical company) actually blew up the bridge in the film. Also, my cousin was on the TV show "That's life" (if you saw the episode of the Skateboarding dog, that was my cousin and his dog) Also, the TV shows Merseybeat and Two Pints of Lager and a packet of Crisps are filmed in my home town of Runcorn.

Not bad, eh?

I see this as an attempt to make buckets of money together as on the comparable time attempting to make young ones into Beatles followers. together as Disney and Robert Zemeckis the two make very beautiful infant's movies, i do no longer see Yellow Submarine as something i could take my babies to establish. so some distance as crass commercialism is worried- i do no longer see this project as being any further valuable or any worse than the different movies that featured Beatles songs. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts club Band," which blanketed a lot of celebrities of the overdue '70s, grew to become into so undesirable it grew to become into stable. "around the Universe" grew to become into contrived, yet relaxing. something to bear in ideas touching directly to the unique "Yellow Submarine:" the Beatles did no longer do the voices for the characters. Granted, the action picture featured a number of Beatles songs, and the score grew to become into composed by using George Martin (who no longer only produced the Beatles, yet did lots of the orchestration of their songs). together as the Beatles did make a short cameo on the top of the action picture, they did no longer write it, nor did they do any of the artwork for the action picture. to absolutely savor the unique action picture, you're able to save it in the context of the overdue '60s. My end: i'm particular the remake would be attractive and human beings will bypass see it, yet i do no longer see it as turning out to be to be a classic or iconic action picture.
