Nope. Depending on where you live, you have to be 15 1/2. If you want some extra money, I've found a few websites that let you make money at 13. I can't post the links here, because some reporting fanatics think it's "spam", but you can click on my name to get to my homepage and find some links there.

14 is the youngest that most states will allow you to be hired for a job. You will most likely have to get a work permit from your school, which says that you make good grades and will keep them up while working.
Since you are 14, there are limited hours which a company can legally allow you to work. You cannot work after 7pm, and no more than 3 hours on a school day.
Now, you can still do odd, "unofficial" jobs for any hours that you want, such as babysitting and mowing the lawn for your neighbors.

By law you need to be 14 and have a worker's permit. You will be heavily restricted though. Can only work like 3-4 hours a day during the school week and 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Cleaning, kitchenwork, packing, running errands, gardening, babysitting, newspaper delivery are some of the jobs available. These jobs will be posted in local newspapers and billboards. Many businesses hesitate to employ minors because of the legal restrictions on working hours and documentation required. A better option is to work from home on your computer-write articles, sell on eBay,make a website, take surveys. In some cases, you may have to set up an account in your parents or guardians name, and ask them to pay you, after they get the money for your work. In my state of South Carolina you can get a job at 14 at grocerie stores bagging groceries, but make sure that you stay up to date in your school work. That is the key thing. Because in this world today you need a college education to do anything or you will be left making $5.00 an hour bagging groceries.
