Still water is way better for you. Sparkling is water pumped up with carbon and all that gas is not good for you.

Carbonated drinks are bad for your teeth due to the carbon dioxide gas they contain, which can form carbonic acid that chemically erodes your teeth. Like any acidic drink, avoid consuming an hour before and after brushing teeth and follow with a drink of milk to help re-mineralise your teeth.

Sparkling water is better -- no FLUORIDE added.
Tap water has tons of fluoride if you live in the USA. Horrible effects long term.
Sparkling just has a bit of fluoride that exists naturally in the environment.

There is no health benefit from drinking mineral water. Good old tap is just as good and sometimes cleaner.

carbonation can cause calcium depletion and i think pure water that contains minerals would be better. but i would suggest loosing the carbonation.
its not a subsitute for water.

Yes - bad teeth. All carbonated drinks contain acid, and can cause teeth-damage. It's not just the sugar, you have to watch out for.
