a good hate your man song would be Kelis' "caught out there", a good sad break up song would be almost anything by Sade' such as King of Sorrow, Smooth Operator, and Toni Braxton's, Unbreak my heart or" love should have brought you home", these are all r&b artists... a bit of rock n roll old school would be Stevie Nicks songs like "stand back" or Heart singing songs like Barracuda or Magic Man. They all express in no uncertain terms the difficulty of a bad break up or relationship.
