Namo web editor is one I use.

Also if you have yahoo hosting you can get "sitebuilder" for free and it is pretty easy.

DO NOT use ANY microsoft WYSIWYG editors for web site creation! They add lots of very useless HTML to every page.

Yahoo Pagebuilder works pretty well for beginners and gives you a website under your username. But if you are willing to put down some cash, Frontpage isn't too bad. It works in much the same fashion. I've used it in conjunction with my own HTML editing -- it's good to create the structure of the website.

But just use editors to get you going -- over time you'll be better off learning HTML yourself.

It was free a while back, and might still be. Check out "Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition". Search for it on Yahoo and you should get links to it.

It is a less functional clone of the ASP.NET studio environment. It is very powerful and easy to use. And even though it is a Microsoft product, it does not add tons of extra HTML crap in it as other MS products do. It is very streamlined.
