You shouldn't go by the first week of every month, you should count 28 days after the first day of your period. Some months it will be at the beginning, some in the middle and some at the end. Sometimes when there are five weeks in a month, you may have it twice. If you just started your period in October, it may take awhile to become regular. My 13 year old daughter has had hers for about a year and it still isn't quite regular yet. Go to the library and get a book on Menstruation or talk to your mom. Good luck and welcome to womanhood.

I am not a doctor but I'm a female and I can tell you, I've had pretty wild fluctuations over time.
Usually, if you're regular, you can have a change because of stress. If something major has changed in your life--diet, exercise, family, relationships--or if you are under a lot of stress--say exams, break ups, arguments with friends or parents, any other serious problems, etc--it is very common that your period goes haywire. No need to worry about it.
My period was pretty irregular until I hit my mid-twenties, but it had nothing to do with my health--I'm in perfect condition.
Have you ever seen a gynecologist? If you haven't, this is the time. You are supposed to meet one once you get your period, just to check that all is well with your reproductive system.

Calm down. There's nothing to get distressed about. As you stated, you just recently started to have a period. Your body is still working it out. When I first started it would be 'normal' for a few months and then be off for a month or two and then normal, then off. It will get regular, don't worry.
It also might have changed due to stress, or a change in your daily schedule. Our bodies aren't perfect and everything affects everything else. Just give it some time to stabalize, and don't worry. It'll be alright!

Periods have a tendancy to be abnormal, especially in the first few years of getting it. I would say that you have nothing to worry about, but if you are very concerned then definitely tell your mother. It will most likely be a much lighter period then usual, and will go away sooner. If it is a persistant problem you could alway go on birth control to regularize your periods. Don't worry!

It's OK. Mark your calendar when you get your period. Some people get their period every 28 days, some people get it every 30 days and some people are irregular. Just keep track and try counting the days between each period. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

when you first start your period they will be irregular for about a year, that's how it was with me. so don't worry, your body is just adjusting, give it some time.
