it depends on what he likes if he just likes news and silly stuff go for something like nickelodeon magazine or Disney's adventures magazine. if he is into fantasy and comics then try shonen jump magazine

Theres a christian magazine for boys called "breakaway" and for girls theres one called "brio" I use to like to read brio when I was young, even though now I don't like "focus on the family" (if youve ever heard of this), its still a fun mag for a kid.
