Your friend's best best is to talk with her dermatologist. I used to have a nasty acne problem. I mean pizza face. It made me so miserable so my mom called my dermatologist. They put me on a pill called spironolactone. I have perfect skin now! I get a zit every once in a while, but I feel gorgeous compared to what I used to look like. As a response to the last person, Proactiv doesn't work for everybody like people say. It made my skin break out worse and I didn't really like the smell.

going for a professional facial will help greatly for a number of reaasons. first, the esthetician can assess her skin and give her great skin care tips and regimes to help her with her skin. the actual facial will help clean out the skin, declog the pores and even the skin texture with the extraction. the deep clean will help her skin greatly and soothe it. however, keep in mind that after the facial, she will break out a little more. this is a good sign since it means the pores were declogged and all the backed up crap is coming out. keeping up with regular facials will keep the skin healthy and younger looking over time.
