I need to bost my rating with pagerank. How can I? Is it possible? Is their software that will do this for you? Help, Please!!!

You need to have websites linking to you. This is what increases your pagerank. PLUS not all links to you are equal. If the link to your site is on a site that has a high pagerank (for eg: a big news site) then it will boost your pagerank more than if the link to you is on a site that has a low pagerank. As for software doing it - well if you have a website with a message box then I'm sure you've received the occasional (or frequent) piece of mail from someone asking you to link to their site. You'll have noticed that their message looks like it's been sent to a thousand other sites? It probably has.
Any software that would improve your pagerank quickly will most likely be illegal.
There are little tricks - for eg something called a google bomb that was used a lot a year or two ago. They're not strictly illegal but they aren't kosher. The most famous google bomb ever being the one where you type "bad" or "worse" "president" and the George W. Bush page on the White House's site comes up. Google claims they don't work anymore but try googling "worst president" and see if they don't work anymore. Those Google bombs were used as a joke but they also increase pagerank.

Google has gotten wise to all the old ways of pushing rankings up so pagerank is is also wiser. Its all about content, relavence, and connectivity inside the site, and lastly outside the site.
If you have an important relavent website that is more important than your competition, then you will move up in googles time (6 months for significant moves).
Lets say you are a microsoft reseller. If you are small and just starting out, someone typing in 'microsoft reseller' at google - you are going to be somewhere on page 3,000 or so. BUT if you are a major reseller over time, and others are searching specifically for your company, you will move up accordingly.
The old days are gone. Its a tough tough world out there now.

Boost your page rank this way:
Get good inbound links from other websites
Ensure you have a lot of content that relates to and uses your keywords
Make sure every page of your site has a good title and description
Get more inbound links from other websites.
Be patient! My page rank started at 0, is now 1, and will eventually grow to 9+

You have to increase your one way link backs. Like pages that link back to you but you don't link to them.
