Sorry, but your question is not clear.

This is your task bar. Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu > All kinds of options that you can do here. maybe you are talking about the quick launch or system tray (cant tell what you want to get rid of). In the system tray, these are running tasks. You can use MSCONFIG from the run prompt to disable...but know what you are disabling.

it is how u do it u right click on ur taskbar and click residences,make valuable ur interior the taskbar tab and seem for notification section and click on the customize button all the icons on right of the reveal would be shown and there is drop down field next to it and click on each of them and choose conceal icons and notifications.
