It's just like asking: If Alice has $6.00 and she is going to give 1.50 each to her friends ... how many friends can she give $1.50 to?

$6.00 / $1.50 = 4

But it's yards of material.
6 yds divided by 3/2 yards per apron = how many aprons?
Invert 3/2 and multiply

6/1 * 2/3 = 4 aprons

easy, you divide 6 by 1 1/2. That gives the number of aprons that can be made.
