We are spoiled. We think we need all of the new gadgets, which are usually electronic or uses electicity. A car won't run without electricity to spark the spark plugs. i feel many of the newest electronic eveything in cars are just to make people want the newest model. After the car is paid off the electrinic gadgets start breaking and cost a lot of money to get fixed. the owner gets tired of the repair bills and just gets tired of it and buys a new car.

Its not a question of if we can live with out electronics or not its more about the level of comfort we have in our lives with or without electronics people survived with out electronics for century's but they did not live that well by our standards of living so yes we could live without electronics but it would be a very hard way to live
