how did world war 2 begin in Asia?

Imperialist Japan--allied with Germany--attacked a bunch of its neighbors, including China and Indonesia. The U.S. didn't like it since it had interests in some of these areas (oil in Indonesia for example), and became a threat to Japanese expansion. Japan attacked the U.S. preemptively at Pearl Harbor and the war was on.

Japan started the problem in 1904 by attacking Russia over the land of Korea. Then in 1905 the US allowed Japan The area of South Korea. Later in 1910 They will take the whole country.
1932 the Japanese starts to take Manchuria or Northern China and will hold it all in 1940. As they work to take the rest of the country they attack Burma, Indochina(Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia) Then in 1941 the Japanese attack Perl Harbor and Southeast Asia
