Asia or any other continent does not care about the ethnic background of the president of the USA - and why should they? If ethnic background of the US president would have played the role in better relationships between USA and Asia or Middle East that would only prove that racism is even more complexed than we think it is. But I know one thing if USA had a black president i.e. Barak Obama the relations inside the US would definitely improve. The World probably also would change an opinion about the US applauding to Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" for the dream to finally come true.

Why would having a black president change anything? He would still be an American. They don't just hate our president, they hate us, America. Are you possibly thinking of Obama? Could it be that you think that he is really a Muslim & if elected he could change the hatred they feel for America? Well, think again. In the 1st place if he were to be elected & it is found that he really is a Muslim & has lied; how long do you think he would be President? He would be the first & only 1 day President in our History!

Are you asking about the city of Usa in Japan?

Having a black president in the United States won't significantly change Anglo-Sino matters.

I sincerely doubt it. It wouldn't matter what the United States does...it always has been and always will be a target. A few years ago, I met a man from Africa who tried to claim that the United States under President Carter sent weapons into the congo...and, of course, it wasn't us. It was France.

We'll always be damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

The racial/ethnic factor of a president of the USA has nothing to do with that relationship for you see an American is an American which transcends that which you dwell upon.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Real prejudice amongst the African American are more profound in many other nations! Especially in Asia!
