Me either. It doesn't matter if I'm in a relationship or not I just feel like the whole day is so overrated and a bit forced. I'd rather my significant other do something for me just because rather then a sense of obligation on V-day.

It's just another day in my book. I don't need one special day set aside for me to show my husband how much I love him and I would be pretty disappointed if he needed a holiday to let him know how special I deserve to be treated.
Flowers or candy for no reason at all mean much more than an obligation gift on Valentines Day.

i love the kitchsiness of it the colors the candy and just an excuse to do something utterly cheesy in terms of going on a date-last year he took me to the zoo and they had a theme "the mating rituals of animals" kinda cute-we dont make it a consumer holiday -usually we have to do something OR make something not BUY!!this year im making the ultimate cardboard cheesy valentine card!

It's okay. I usually get something for my daughter and the rest of my family. But I also feel that it is another made up holiday designed to guilt us into spending money.
