thats really sad. does it happen all the time? if it does then you have something u need to deal with before it eats u up. if it doesnt then its probally one of those sober times when u need to withdraw to urself, it happens to everyboby just so long as its not a permanent case.
take care.

Its because you are! You have detached yourself because you feel like you are not "living"!....you are just existing!
There are probably so many questions and thoughts in your mind, that are traveling too fast for you to focus!... and when you are around tons of people it only makes it worse!
Sounds like you need to talk this out with someone and find the source of the problem if indeed there is one! You could just be a person who is given to more intimate environments. You could have a clinical condition. Who's to know? But if you feel as though this is bothering you, talk it out with someone you feel can help.
Good luck!

Unless you are reaching out and/or open to those that reach out to you, you will still feel this way.
Content , depth and sincerity of interaction will make a difference, superficial relationships would still leave you empty, since there is no substance or quality to sustain the benefits of developing friendships. It helps to have a relationship with "self" and then being by yourself is a pleasure and won't seem undesirable.

Something is missing with-in you. You separated yourself from people. Most of the time when a person feels the way you do is because your unhappy about your personal life. There's something your holding back or your not letting no one in. It's if your protecting yourself. Your the only one who can unlock that. No one or some magic pill can do it for you. It's something with-in you. Maybe you have to do some soul searching. God can only help you and you.

I wouldn't say that it's completely normal. I was once in a bar celebrating my birthday and I can honestly say that even surrounded by my closest friends and my family, I have never felt so alone in the world as then.
I think it has something to do with the loss of my parents a few months prior, but who knows. I don't know why I felt that way, I just did.

i've felt the same way before, i dont know, you feel like you have nothing to do with the people around you. they seem so different and you even wonder how they are your friends. but it just temporary. that feeling goes away and you're back to normal. if it doesnt the you may be suffering from a anxiety disorder or something.

it sad but i think everyone has felt like that at one time or another maybe you feel like you don't fit in the crowd of people or maybe you have just lost someone close in your family and maybe it is a sign of depression and if you want to really be save ask your doctor tell him hoe you are feeling it,s better then not understanding why you feel the way you do

Because when it comes right down to it, you ARE alone. No one can bear your pain or walk your path, you have to do it yourself. Other people's presence and support makes it more tolerable sometimes - but not always. Depression especially puts you in this frame of mind.
