If you go to google and type in myspace tweaks and tricks and click on the first result and then there where be somewhere hide friends/comments and copy the code they give you into your about me or there are some layouts made like that!!

Yes. Just modify the layout (can be done from your account page) and delete the areas for comments and top 8
